Eugene Sunday Streets

Event Schedule | Volunteer Information

The City of Eugene will be hosting Eugene Sunday Streets again on September 9, 2012.  However, to remain successful and sustainable, Eugene Sunday Streets needs the support of our community.

If you would like to contribute to Eugene Sunday Streets 2012 by sponsoring next summer’s event, please contact Lindsay Selser at sundaystreets@ci.eugene.or.us or (541)682-5094.

The City of Eugene is holding a community meeting on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at 7:00 PM to encourage residents to get involved with the 2nd Annual Eugene Sunday Streets! The community meeting will be held at the Amazon Community Center, 2700 Hilyard St, Studio B, Building C.

The first Eugene Sunday Streets took place on September 18, 2011 from 12:00 to 4:00 PM.

Eugene Sunday Streets was a FREE community event that rolled into Eugene summer 2011, and was brought to you by the City of Eugene.

Eugene Sunday Streets featured a 3 mile, car-free route that opened the streets for people to walk, bike and roll, connecting the Downtown and Whiteaker neighborhoods. Two activity centers at Skinner Butte Park and Washington/Jefferson Park hosted FREE fitness classes, dancing, yoga, slacklining, live music and much more!
